Alba-Tec Construction & Development LLC is a general contractor based in Abu Dhabi. We deliver civil construction, pre-engineered steel buildings, MEP (mechanical, electrical and plumbing) works and interior design and fit-out for government and private clients across the UAE.

Since 1992. Alba-Tec started in Abu Dhabi as a subcontractor for decoration, painting and maintenance works, was registered as a construction company in 2000 and has grown into a multi-activity contractor with more than 140 projects delivered.

Our head office is in Abu Dhabi and we work throughout the UAE, including Abu Dhabi city, Al Ain, Al Dhafra and Dubai, where we have a branch office in Dubai Investment Park. We also keep a store for plant, tools and materials in Al Ain.

Yes. The Abu Dhabi Department of Municipalities and Transport classifies Alba-Tec as a first category building contractor, with electrical works for buildings in the second category. We are certified to ISO 9001:2015 (quality), ISO 14001:2015 (environment) and ISO 45001:2018 (occupational health and safety), and our safety management system is approved under Abu Dhabi OSHAD.

More than 400 people: engineers, technical and administrative staff and our own site crews, so our projects run with Alba-Tec crews, plant and supervision on site.

Three divisions under one roof. Construction: civil construction, pre-engineered buildings, infrastructure and external works, and maintenance. MEP Engineering: electrical, plumbing and drainage, HVAC, ELV, fire fighting, and data and telecommunication systems. Interior Design: palaces and villas, showrooms and offices, landscaping and swimming pools, and carpentry and wooden works.

Yes. We build villas, palaces and their auxiliary buildings, and our Interior Design division has worked on palaces and villas since 2000, so one contractor can take a private residence from the structure through the MEP systems to the finishes, landscaping and pool.

Yes. Alba-Tec was registered in 2000 as a construction company specialised in pre-engineered buildings, and we have since built warehouses, factories, workshops and industrial facilities across the UAE with our partners in the steel building industry.

Yes. Our MEP division installs electrical, mechanical, plumbing, fire fighting and low-current (ELV) systems for commercial buildings, schools, sports centres, clinics, offices, staff accommodation and industrial facilities. We take on both pre-designed and design and build MEP work, as MEP subcontractor or as part of a complete Alba-Tec contract.

Yes. Our Interior Design division takes a detailed brief, develops the concept and working drawings in 2D and 3D, and carries out or supervises the fit-out, joinery and finishes. We can also execute a design produced by another firm.

Yes. Our maintenance department provides planned and reactive maintenance for the buildings we deliver and for existing facilities, and maintenance contracts are part of our construction work for government and private clients.

Yes. Our engineering department handles design and re-design, estimation and quality control, and our construction, MEP and interior divisions deliver the works, so you can deal with one contractor from the first drawings to handover and maintenance.

Yes. Alongside new buildings we carry out renovations, extensions, fit-outs and maintenance, for example the renovation of a hotel restaurant complex and the second-floor expansion of an international school in Abu Dhabi. Tell us about your project and we will tell you how we can help.

Every project runs under our ISO 9001 quality and ISO 45001 safety systems: materials and method statements are approved before work starts, deliveries are checked on arrival, and each trade is inspected against checklists. On site, newcomers get a safety induction, toolbox talks are held before each day's work and safety officers carry out regular inspections.

Our Abu Dhabi office is open Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Messages and quote requests sent outside these hours are answered on the next business day.
