Alba-Tec Construction & Development LLC is an Abu Dhabi based company that carries out work throughout the United Arab Emirates.
Who we are
Alba-Tec Construction & Development was formed in 1992. It started as a subcontractor for decoration, painting and maintenance works and has since grown into a multi-activity organisation working throughout the UAE.
In 2000 it was registered as a construction company specialised in pre-engineered buildings, as an affiliate of M/s Mammut Steel Building (civil contractor) and of M/s Mabani Steel (associated contractor). The company has a proven record of performance, and its policy has always been that no customer is left unsatisfied.

How we are organised
The company is organised in groups, each headed by a group leader with the autonomy to see the work through. Teams are trained on and off the job, and every member has an equal chance of promotion based on performance.

- Interior: palaces and villas, showrooms and offices, landscaping and swimming pools, and customised interior works.
- Engineering: design and re-design, estimation, and quality control.
- Maintenance: planned and reactive maintenance of the buildings we deliver and of existing facilities.

1992
Founded in Abu Dhabi
Alba-Tec starts as a subcontractor for decoration, painting and maintenance works.
2000
Registered as a construction company
Registered on 20 November 2000 as a construction company specialised in pre-engineered buildings, as civil contractor for M/s Mammut Steel Building and associated contractor of M/s Mabani Steel. The Interior Design division opens the same year.
2010
Shooting range for CNIA
The Critical National Infrastructure Authority thanks Alba-Tec for the outdoor shooting range.
2014
Marfa Port contract
Abu Dhabi Ports awards Alba-Tec the land-side development of Al Mirfa Port. The security printing building for United Printing & Publishing is completed.
2015
Abu Dhabi University and Al Mirfa Port
Abu Dhabi University's School of Engineering extension is handed over and Al Mirfa Port opens after its upgrade.
2016
Excellent Safety Performance award
Emirates Steel recognises Alba-Tec for excellent safety performance. The Dubai branch opens in Dubai Investment Park.
2018
OSHAD approval
Alba-Tec's occupational safety and health management system is approved under Abu Dhabi OSHAD.
2021
ISO 9001 and ISO 14001
Quality and environmental management systems certified to ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015.
2024
ISO 45001
Occupational health and safety management certified to ISO 45001:2018.
2025
First category building contractor
Classified by the Abu Dhabi Department of Municipalities and Transport as a first category building contractor.

Message from the Managing Director
It has been my honour and privilege to serve Alba-Tec Construction & Development LLC, providing construction services in the United Arab Emirates, and it will continue to be for many more years.
I have been fortunate to work alongside owners, developers, subcontractors and employees who have made what we do safe, rewarding and challenging. I enjoy every moment of this business, and I strive to have those around me feel the same.
I never tire of seeing the structures that we have built, or the Alba-Tec logo on a building under construction. These structures are symbols of the hard work, sweat and dedication of every member of the Alba-Tec team, and the pride I feel when I see them will never fade.
The Alba-Tec team will devote its full effort and cooperation to our clients, consultants and project managers, to exceed our customers' expectations and fully satisfy their needs with high quality standards of work.
Credit for the success of Alba-Tec cannot be given to just one person. Many people have contributed, from managers, engineers and technical staff to administration and labour. It is because of the commitment of all of these people that we continue to provide safe, quality work.
